1st Gen Window Problem and Interior Trim

I just bought a 91 Monty LS and the seller said the windows work, but they don't. I have heard they can be finicky. Also, if anyone has extra window switches I will buy them or any interior trim pieces too. The previous owner screwed a wood dash kit to the dash so I need a new dash. I am going to change all of my interior trim to black, with a vinyl spray, so color does not matter. I have searched local yards, but they are hard vehicles to come by and if I do they are super trashed and picked apart.

I don't know if you can unscrew the wood trim, but I am doing something similar. I just removed the dash, filled the holes and cracks with superglue/baking soda, sprayed with a light coat of bedliner and then a coat of SEM black. I have not got it back in the truck yet, but they do look good sitting on the driveway. Doing it this way I was able to fill some cracks and also the holes for the grab bar. Just food for thought but might be cheaper than getting a new dash.

Did you try looking on car-part.com? May have some there since it's the inventory from multiple parts yards. In my old gen I the switch was finicky and would work if you pressed down on it as your pushed it in the up/down position. It's what usually goes bad on the windows, unless the PO never cleaned the window tracks.
