My daughter and I took the 1st trip with the tacoma and the cobalt in tow. It was a shake down trip. I wanted to see how my wiring held up as well as the truck after its rebuild, the trailer brake wiring, and the edgstar. We left on friday and drove into very heavy rain going towards Jackman Maine. We drove around on the muddy roads and finally found a sight. To my relief, the camper was dry when opened. It turned cold during the night but the Mr. buddy kept the chill off. Woke to clearing skies and 30 degrees out. However, the edgestar stopped working. Had the multimeter out and found all good voltage. Got home and found that a spade connector was off.
It was a sunny day on saturday and drove on the logging roads for about 80 miles and returned home.
Quick trip. My daughter was a trooper. Being 7 she handled the rain and cold very well on friday. Everything really preformed quite good.
I'll have a tool chest on the flatbed for the hi-lift, shovel and other gear and a few more items to do before our trip to Prince Edward Island in June. Thanks to everyone on the site for their help and insights.http://www.expeditionportal.com/for.../forum/picture.php?albumid=398&pictureid=1727
