Geez! Get a license FIRST?
That would take all the fun out of having but not being licensed...using (?) but not being caught...

So where in Tucson do you take the test?
I saw some threads on studying and such...

Ed:confused:

Hey Ed, lets do this together, kinda be license buddies. I was all geared up to take the test, but life got in they way. Maybe with the two of us we can encourage/shame each other into following through.

Your're just as guilty Mark! You gotta do it too. Soon the CB'ers will be in the minority.

We're being there. We plan to join the cogniscenti.

Besides, we want to hear all the last-minute route changes - so we can BE AFRAID in real time.:smiley_drive:

I'm a big fan of the FT-7800.
1000 memories, wide band reciever, and good price.
It's not dual-watch, so one channel at a time vhf or uhf, but for most operations it's what I want.

I have two of them and they suit me fine.
Easy to operate and not overly complicated with tiny knobs.

Get the programming software, you'll want it if you manage a decent amount of freqs.
