What have folks done to put a 2" receiver on a Raider? I have the 1.25 bolt on doo dad but that's not going to cut it. I see Curt has a 2" bolt on with the same bolt pattern. Or is it better to fab a custom receiver/bracket? I won't be hauling much more weight than the 1.25 is rated for.

I have a Curt that just bolts on. My neighbor uses the same hitch and pulls a double axle landscape trailer with it in his '89 SWB without issue.

Thanks! That's good to know and very helpful. Is he using the 1.25? I cross-posted on the Facebook page and a guy suggested a Pintle hitch. It has far more capacity than I have a need for. Someone else suggested a Valley 3-point but that company got bought, sold, bought and then went bankrupt. There was another suggestion for stealing an OEM 3-point from a Gen1 LWB and that will fit but only on the 3.0. ANOTHER (yes) suggestion was to pillage a complete back frame from another vehicle (this dude sliced one off a old S-10) and put that one on.

After all that, likely just the Pintle as the bolt pattern was correct.

Uh, my neighbor ain't pulling a double axle trailer with no little hitch; it's a 2". Pintle hitches have a use, but they're not ideal for everything. For one, they're noisy.

I have a couple 2" receivers in the garage that will fit if you are still looking, both are the 4 bolt style and uses the factory holes.
