Vernal...Not sure what you know but it's a boom town! Natural gas and oil is all over. So too are the monster trucks and new buildings all over the place. Just over the past few years; the amount of restaurants and hotels being constructed is crazy. However, if one looks and searches; one will find solitude and some of the best single track.
Louise and I got a kid-free 3-day weekend, so we packed up the cruiser and headed East.
Found a nice camping spot and got the bikes ready.
We got out and rode the desert single track. So nice...
Stop in at the new brewery in town. A very nice place with good beer!
The sunset was nice...
The following day we explored the Dinosaur National Monument backcountry. Gorgeous!
Found plenty of signs from human of the past...800 years or so ago!
What would come the next day?
