Time to let my van go. Too many other projects/priorities/trips to take.

2000 Chevy Express 3500 - 132,ish miles.

The good:
15 passenger van with rear air. All seats removed behind the second row (seating for 5).
All metal surfaces have been covered in kill-mat.
New carpet up front.
Seats profesionally shampooed.
Rear of van has insulation (pink board) covered by 1/2" plywood subfloor. Ready for the flooring of your choice.
Blank canvas ready for your imagination.

The bad:
Typical peeling GM paint all around.
Hood was repaired and repainted. Paint is yellowing and peeling.
Vehicle will occasionally be difficult to start. Could be in need of fuel relay or fuel pump. I am unsure.

Located in West Texas. Looking for $3250 cash or possible trade + cash. Title in hand.

It’s a 350 I’d assume?

And the starting issue....
Does it occur more the longer the vehicle sits unused? Does it always start anyway by the 2nd or 3rd try?
Any issues once running?

Thanks!

It is a 350.
The issue has happened twice in the 5ish months I’ve had it. Both times I get in, drive to where I am going, kill it and an hour or so later come back to go home and the engine will crank but die. Sounds like it is not getting fuel. After trying several times the engine cranks.

Once started it seems to run just fine. I’ve probably started the van a few dozen times between these incidents. I really have no idea of the cause.

I’m considering riding a motorcycle down from the Black Hills. I honestly didn’t think it would be around until next weekend.
Would you drive it to SD? How many miles have you put on it in the 5 or so months you’ve owned it?

Thanks.

I’ve only put 2-300 miles on it since I’ve owned it. Mostly piddling around town. Maybe 50 miles of highway miles. I’ve got no reason to believe it wouldn’t make it to SD, but no long drives to back that up. Besides the occasional starting issue it has given me no trouble driving around.

If you break down at least you will have a “dinghy” inside. ?

And the dinghy will have a credit card, a few tools, and a motorcycle ;-)

I suppose I should send you a PM.
