I was considering buying this truck to put a camper on the back, but I think I'm going to pass and wanted to mention it to y'all expo'rs. This is my in-laws truck and they're considering selling.
One owner truck
Mileage is 144k
454 Vortec V8,
Auto tranny,
2wd,
blue paint thats scratched from use but not abused.
Tan leather interior
8' bed.
It's a 3rd vehicle and gets used only for dump runs (construction materials, etc) We've been using it recently and it's parked at our place, so let me know if you want any specific pictures aside from the ones I'll post up later.
It's in good shape overall but it's going to need some servicing to get up to 100%
To-do list:
-Brakes.(useable but close to needing replacement according to them)
-ball joints, possibly (gets a wobble sometimes when on the highway. They had the dealer replace them once already but they're probably due again)
-A/C system recharge/repair (blows hot)
Thats about it, everything else (tranny,motor, rear axle, cooling system, etc is good to go)
Here's some info from Kelly blue book about asking price (KBB says that $7000 is a good start) and overal condition:
This is located in San Diego.
I'll update this post today with some new info.
