I have a Monty for sale 3300.00 OBO
200,000 Miles
Location Colorado Springs
The Good-
Solid drive train and 4x4 system
heated seats work great
Body has some small dings but overall good shape
front passenger fender has a baseball size ding in it. (I can email more pics)
Interior leather has held up well small wear in driver side backrest
Oil always changed with fully synthetic
waterpump and timing belt have been replaced
spark plugs and wires have been replaced
Known Issues-
Gas gauge does not work
Radio does not work (lost the factory security code)
Front CV boots need replaced
Hood paint is starting to fade
Tires are cupped and worn out (causes slight vibration in steering wheel)
There was an electrical glitch that made the door locks open and close randomly and the check engine light flash on and off 2-3 seconds. I disconnected the electric door locks to buy pass the problem. When I have driven it recently the problem has not come up. The check engine lights never stayed on due to a mechanical issue. Just when the locks would randomly open and close due to some electrical connection issue that only effected the door locks. It never affected driving
I have switched to 10w 30 and the engine seems to run smoother due to being 20 years old. I also have found that using a can of seafoam green once a year in the intake helps it to keep it running smooth as well.
