Hello all I am selling my 2000 mitsubishi montero endeavor model. I am Located in the PNW about an hour north of Portland in Washington I havent owned it very long, I originally bought it to see if my mom wanted to drive it, but she would rather stick to her suburban. It has 208k miles and runs and drives great. Lets start with the cons
Cons:
Has its share of dings and dents but the paint is in good condition
Radio antenna came out of place, the radio works fine but the retractable antenna broke and popped out. Its as easy as getting a new cable and putting it back in.
I just did a tire rotation and at some point this car was taken to a jiffy lube or other chain mechanic and one of their "mechanics" stripped a lug nut on it, so the rear passenger wheel has 5 lugs.
Slight Power steering whine doesnt leak any fluid just your typical whine. If you have ever owned a 2000s chevy you know the sound haha.
Pros:
Just did a full timing belt job (timing belt, hyd Tensioner, pulleys, water pump cam seals) using OEM aisin parts.
Just did valve cover gaskets and Spark plugs
New alternator
new serpentine belt
Car runs great and sounds great everything works
Heated seats (leather is not perfect put it is typical for the age)
31x10.50 tires with about 50% tread
Paint is good
Seats 7
Completely stock grandma spec
I bought from the 2nd owner.
4x4 works
Key Fob works great 3 keys 1 fob
Original tool kit intact
If you want a locking rear axle I know where we could get one we would just need to work out the price.
$4000 gets you the perfect starting point for your build, no rust no mechanical problems ready to go. Its a blank canvas.
