The Bad: 1. Burns a little oil. Mostly when doing long interstate type driving but even still then it isn't a lot. 2. Has (had?) a passenger side under dash water leak. Seems the most likely cause is water coming in the HVAC from the fresh air inlet due to the sealant going bad on the inspection panel. I checked and it looked pretty suspect so I re-sealed them. Waiting for a good rain to see if it still leaks. 3. Heated seats don't work.
The good: 5 new tires (has a full size spare in the stock location! Transmission and main seal replaced about 3 years ago by a professional transmission shop (not a shade tree mechanic). Starter replaced approx 2 years ago, new brakes and rear rotors installed recently, ARB awning WITH awning room w/floor, 4 batteries with isolators (2 up front, and 2 deep cycles in the rear) all connected to a 100 watt solar panel with controller and 3000watt inverter (ran a roof mounted AC on this thing before!). Alternator and solar keep the batteries charged. Badlands 12k winch on hidden mount. Tow mirrors, Onboard air w/airhorns. Roof light bar, bumper mounted lights, VHF radio, siren with PA and radio re-broadcast (air horns and electric siren horn activate together), Bedslide, 3rd row seat (currently removed for bedslide) heavy duty fan clutch, aux electric fan for ice cold AC when idling in high heat, reverse camera, all front lights replaced recently so nice and clear, tablet holder, android based head unit, custom cargo area cover, additional reverse lights, 4wheel drive works perfectly. NO RUST! I just picked up a 2015 Yukon to takes the place of this one. Located on the Matthews/Charlotte NC line.
