Toyota Tacoma 4x4
There's a reason Toyota trucks have great value. This generation truck helped set the standard for long-lasting durability.
Consistently averages 19-22 miles per gallon, combined driving. At 85-90 miles an hour on interstate, mpg is 17-19.
This truck climbs technical trail like a Billy goat. I don't take it off-road often (mostly slow crawls up to mountain tops) but the gearing combination is perfect, using the high torque 4cyl engine to climb uphill trails without touching the gas pedal. The same for steep descents...1st gear in 4-low and the strong engine creeps safely downhill. I love the short wheelbase! I can crawl into places like a 4x4 quad. Better than electronic 4x4 systems in newer vehicles; a driver with moderately decent 4wheel experience will love it!
Why am I selling? Just spent the coin for a 2017 Tacoma.
