I've been thinking about buy a used TDI (Jetta, Golf, Passat or Bug) as a commuter so I've been looking and that price/year/mileage is a great deal (by east coast standards anyway) if the vehicle is clean. I wish it was on the east coast.

I feel your pain...infant in the house has turned me from 1 cup of coffee in the morning to 3. :coffeedrink: My god, that little fella has some lungs on him when he's hungry! :wings:

only 3 CUPS? I went from a pot a day (I love me some java!) to about 3-5. Yup, thats entire POTS of coffiee...haha, I need help. Though the heat of summer in the sandbox has cut me down to about 1.5-2.

I was thinking that it would be a great motor for one of my Heep projects. I have a few ongoing (well, mostly on hold now) but really would like a diesel in them all! There is a company called HPA Motorsports that is working on a kit to put one in a YJ. I happen to have a YJ so....hmmm? Or it would be a neat motor in my 67 Commando...? I love diesels. Just won't have a lot of time to build (or money!) before I get stationed in Germany. So this is more of a longe term goal/dream/idea thingy...
