For sale in Missoula, MT. $12k obo
2003 Chevy 2500HD 4X4
- Standard Transmission
- Highly reliable Chevy 6.0 Gas Engine
- 182000 Miles
- Thousands of Dollars in maintenance in the past 3 years
- Complete front end rebuild
- New Shocks
- New Brakes
- New Alternator
- New Battery
- New motor mounts
- Other stuff that I can't remember, I will dig out the receipts this week
- Air Bag suspension in the rear
- Leveling kit in the front
- Handles well, and easily cruises at 75-80+mph on the highway with the camper on and fully loaded
I bought the truck in October of 2018 with 140,000. In the past 3 years I have fixed all of the issues that previous owner had neglected. It's not the prettiest, but the truck is in good shape, and I would drive it anywhere with confidence. Heat and AC both work well, but to toggle between them requires reaching under the dash with a small wrench. Probably a few other quirks too.
1995 Six Pac Camper
- Renogy deep cycle gel battery 12 volt, 100Ah
- 200 watts of renogy 12 volt monocrystalline solar panels on top
- Renogy charge controller
- 1000watt inverter
- Special 12volt battery charger that gets plugged into 120v. "Heals" Battery as it charges. I'm told this is a $500 component. It came with the camper when I bought it
- 5kw Diesel heater, just installed this winter. Really awesome upgrade for ski trips. Provides very dry, forced air heat
- The original propane furnace can be included if buyer is interested
- LED puck lighting ( 3 out of 5 are working right now, there is something wrong with the circuit that the other 2 are on. The rest of the electrical system works well, though)
- Customized Layout. Still a work in progress.
- Mechanical Jacks, operated with a custom drill bit
The camper will be meticulously cleaned before sale. It is ready to go for all 4 seasons as is, but has lots of options for further customization and upgrades.
Willing to sell either the truck or camper separately:
$9500 for the truck
$3500 for the camper
$12500 for the package
Happy to entertain offers.
Please ask questions if you have them, I'm sure I am forgetting some things.
