My wife is the original owner of this classic up for sale. It is a completely stock Rubicon TJ that has truly been babied and never been off-roaded. It has been very well maintained and runs well to this day. Currently, this Jeep is still my wife's only vehicle. Not a single modification besides a bull-bar her dad welded for her in 2004. Even the spare tire is original for your nostalgic needs.
Overview:
More history...
This TJ spent its first 9 years in Texas. Then 1 year in Colorado. Since 2014, it has been in Southern Oregon. My wife has always addressed any engine check lights and has been diligent about upkeep. That said, it's not perfect. It has rock chips, a small dent on the passenger (A?) pillar. We did not spend hours and hours detailing this Jeep, hiding rust nor hiding imperfections. We are not in a rush to sell.
Service record highlights:
And finally:
Yes, it leaks motor oil:
The 4.0L drips oil and has been for many years. Local shop tells us it is most likely the rear main seal. In search of this leak, a local shop replaced the valve cover gasket in 2018 and in 2023.
