2005-2007 Lexus LX

Hey,

I am in the market for a 2005-2007 Lexus LX.

Seems the price is 15-20k for one in good condition with roughly 150k miles.

My question is...I should be able to get another 100-150k out of this vehicle with no major expenses correct?

Any thoughts from current/previous owners are much appreciated!

The 4.7 is a solid engine. Make sure timing belt has been done. Take it to a reputable shop to have it checked out.

Generally speaking, you shouldn’t have major issues. But remember it’s a machine with a million moving parts so failures are inevitable.

I had a 100-series. Had close to 180k when I sold it. I’d say it would’ve gone another 100k without major failures. Parts that did worry me were front diffs, transmission (mine was the older 4-sp), and brake booster.

Set aside some funds, just in case.
