I'm looking at a 2005 Frontier. I know this was the first year for this generation. Has there been any issues with the 2005? Thanks for all your guys help.

I have two 2005 Frontiers. Both with about 50,000 miles on them and trouble free. I did have the front brakes replace on one do to squeaking (there was a TSB for that).
There is a recently new TSB about the timing chain making noise due to the tensioner that is cover under the power train warrany.
What trim level are you looking at?

05' has the least problems from what I read. plus it has an actuall functioning oil gauge.
