This is a rare find and a cult classic! One of only 250 in the US. This is a super practical camper that at 18.5' long, fits into a regular parking spot. Sleeps 4 people, Seat belts for 5. Low miles (75k) on a CDI turbo Diesel Mercedes Benz engine on a Dodge chassis. This camper has all the creature comforts including a toilet, wet bath, TV/DVD, rear camera, two-burner propane stove, AC, heater, hot water heater, awning, and kitchen table. A surprising amount of storage for being a van. This is a great camper or on-grid or off-grid and is the perfect road trip vehicle. I am the second owner, I purchased it in Northern California from an older gentleman that was the original owner. I bought it with 30k miles, and it now has 75k miles. As you would expect with a 16-year-old rig, it isn’t perfect, but I would say it is in pretty good shape and shows well.

The rig has been nothing but dependable for me, and I have had very few issues over the years. I have replaced the ERG Valve earlier this year, but other than routine maintenance - oil changes, tires, brakes, etc. it has required very little. Has plenty of power, AC Blows cold, just a real dependable gal.

This Westy is almost all original with very few modifications, upgrades, etc. The primary change Westy enthusiasts will notice is that I replaced the driver's side rear awning window with a Sprinter OEM sliding window. The original acrylic window started to crack, and I was lucky to find the OEM slider. I have read others have had issues finding a replacement. I do have a full-size spare that lives on the back door, it just isn’t in any of the photos currently. I stripped the decals off the fiberglass top when I bought it and had it wrapped in black vinyl. The vinyl is starting to wear but still looks fine.

Almost everything works how it should: Generator, Diesel Heater, rear A/C, Skylight, Toilet, Blinds/Shades, Water Heater, etc. I have had front rubber mats, and rear mats, in addition to seat covers on the front and rear seats since I have had it, and the fabric and floors are in good shape.

The batteries are still original and are starting to show their age.. On the last trip I went on I ran the heater all night, had the fridge on and camped for about 2.5 days, and had no issues, but I would say they will need to be switched out in the near future.

The Water Tank gauge doesn’t work, as it shows the tank is 2/3’rds full all the time, and the gray/black water tank indicator lights also do not work. These sensors likely need to be replaced. There are a few dings, etc. on the body, but nothing major or anything that wouldn’t be expected from a rig this old. The black plastic on the side where the water fill is is starting to crack (as almost every Westy is). The interior storage (where the safe is) sliding door is also broken and has been that way since I purchased it. I believe this is a common issue as well.
