WinInUtah - How did you like those Hankooks?
Well the Wife just realized that the 2006 Jeep Unlimited was two door not four and nixed this plan in the butt. Bummer. Not sure what to look for not. I really done want to go through the possess of building another JKU. They are just a little common now.
Full disclosure, I am a Hankook distributor, not the only reason ,though. They were quieter on the road than the stock MTRs and cleared stones very well. I had absolutely no problems with them in 30K miles. I went back to them for my JKUR and am just as satisfied.
How did she not see that right away? Or didn't she look at any with you? Anyway, there is nothing wrong with a 2 door unless you have 3 kids. Then you need a 4 door. I have 2 kids and the LJ works just fine for my family. Its a little tight on vacations with all 4 of us and camping gear, but you learn to pack for the room you have.
I don't think she was paying attention until I was ready to buy. I agree that the TJL should be fine for two adults and one two year old, but the wife dose have say in this.
She wants an FJ, but I have nixed that as I am not a fan of the truck or the suicide doors.
