hello i have recently purchased a 2006 montero. i have always loved monteros. i like tough off roading truck but this is a good compromise with my wife as they are well equiped. anyway my question was about using emu lift springs(medium duty) with KYB GR-2 or there gas-a-just. i was wondering if the travel or the shaft length is long enough for a 2" lift.
do 2001-2006 monteros use the same shock design or are there any changes btw those years.
thanks
joe

I don't know the answer to your question, but just wanted to say congrats on the new acquisition!

thanks im happy with my purchase it has 70000 miles on it and seems to run solid so far. so far only got some weather tech mats for it.
does anyone know if mitsubishi recommend flushing the auto tranny and rear diff?

Not really here
Not sure what the factory recommendation is, but across the board it is typically replace the transmission fluid every 30,000 or 60,000 miles. same with rear differential depending upon use. Anytime I get a used vehicle I replace every single fluid and filter in it.

The day after I got my truck I changed fluids in the trans. Tx case fr&rr diffs, flushed coolant, new coolant and power steering fluid, engin oil & filter and flushed and replaced brake fluit. Good thing as all the old fluids looked waaaay overdue for change!
