Selling my 2007 BMW Xchallenge with 6,100 miles on the Rotax motor. Comes with factory airbag rear height adjustable suspension (original pump for easy height adjustability and FSM mounted under the seat), and brand new dual sport tires (not shown in photos). The bike just had a full inspection by a highly reputable local motorcycle service shop, and comes with tons of aftermarket accessories.
The motorcycle has the now discontinued Touratech full subframe (the factory subframe is included in the sale), Pelican cases, H&B crash bars/motor cage, rotopax fuel cans, locking fuel cap, dual USB port installed, grip guards, custom windscreen from Chile, rear tail light conversion, brand new battery, and probably some other things I can 't recall at the moment.
All of the factory stuff removed to make way for aftermarket gear is included in the sale. All fluids were replaced once a year by the previous owner, and the bike is wired for a battery trickle charger, which is plugged in when the bike isn't being ridden. The bike has never been laid down.
Known issues: One foot peg is slightly damaged but very easily replaceable. One of the pelican cases was locked and the key was missing, so the lock tab had to be cut. Still works great and other side locks fine. The bike suffers from the well known/documented occasional start/idle issue where the bike won't idle when you first start it if it's too cold out. The BMW Xcountry suffers from the same problem. There are numerous threads on the ADV forums regarding this issue and a fix, I just don't have the time to look further into it, as I'm moving soon. Basically the bike starts and runs for a few seconds, then shuts off. It may do this a coule,of times, but then idles and runs excellent. Again, this is an occasional and fixable issue.
