Hey thanks for the comments Mark! It will be dearly missed, but I am planning on replacing it with something in Land Cruiser flavor, so more adventures to come there... hehe... :sombrero:

Great looking vehicle. Where did you get that spare tire mount? I like it.
Good luck with sale.

Thanks man! If it doesn't sell with the truck it will be up for sale separately.

I came up with the design for the tire carrier based on a number of different design iterations and cardboard mock-ups. I then took it to Penski's place for some welding and grinding. The design is really pretty simple and takes advantage of the factory Utility Track and will fit everything from a 32 to 35 inch tall tire. It will also mount in a number of locations which include where it is as depicted, on the front of the bed against the cab, and on the floor of the bed mounted flush. :sombrero:

It's exactly what I have been looking for. I've searched for some upright mounts but haven't seen much. Definitely let me know if you want to part with it as some point. Great design.

Nice truck! Does it have Nissan's all-wheel traction control system, hill descent control and hill start assist?

The revised EPA rating for the 2007 4x4 is 15/19 mpg. What sort of mpg do you see with the larger tires and lift?

Nissan makes a virtually identical version of the Frontier at several plants around the world, including Mexico and Brasil. It's called the Navara. So service and parts should be available if you plan to travel in Central and South America. The major difference is that the Navara is sold primarily with a 2.5L four cylinder diesel, rather than the 4L V6 we get in USA.

Thanks for the compliment! No hill decent or hill start. It does have the Vehicle Stability Control though, which works very well I might add.

Before the tires and all offroad accessories I was getting 19 in town and 22 on the highway. I don't baby the truck but at the same time I don't drive it hard, so those are real world numbers one should expect, and I am not sure why that is so far off the EPA's estimate. As of today with everything the truck has I get 17 in town and 20 on the highway. I have kept good track of these numbers (also adjusting for the increased tire size vs. mileage skew) and thus that is a very accurate average.

There has already been decent interest in the truck and I am hoping it sells fast.
