I bought my 4runner back in June with 91k on the clock. It's a base model SR5 V6 4wd. Car was in good condition, it did have an unreported accident that I noticed after I bought it (paint not a perfect match on passenger front fender). I bought the 4runner to replace my 2000 Tacoma. I loved that truck but it was racking up the miles. The 4runner has been a good replacement, but I definitely miss having a truck. The suspension was not adequate in my opinion when I bought it, so I replaced that first.
Current suspension: FJ cruiser springs (eBay $125 for 4 off a 2014 with 8200 miles on them) with bilstein 5100s set at 0.85" in the front. I got about 2" of lift in the front and about 0.75" in the rear (measured ground to fender). The ride is awesome, I highly recommend this upgrade. I will advise to stay away from the moog springs. I had them in the front and I got 3" of lift and the ride was really stiff.
Next up is tires when the ones on there wear out. I would like to do 265/76-r16 Michelin LTX AT2, I have heard good things. I would also like to do spidertrax 1.25" spacers as well.
Also on the lookout for a used autohome tent! I have built a simple storage box in the back for the time being.

I also got rid of all of the chrome, I thought it looked aweful. New door handles and plasti dipped the rest. It's a very comfortable car and drives excellent. Can't wait to get new tires!
