Pickuptrucks.com has a test of the new Dodge 1500 Offroad 4x4 package.

Recall that for 2009 Dodge has replaced the leaf springs holding up the rear axle with coils. The design is reported to be similar to that of a Jeep Wrangler, but beefy enough to carry 1800 lbs of cargo, and tow 9000 lbs.
The editors at Pickuptrucks.com give the new setup a thumbs up for its articulation over rocks and comfortable ride. They say a good setup could be made better with front locker, automatic sway bar disconnect, and more ground clearance -- a Power Wagon for the rest of us.
Dodge recently reaffirmed its commitment to offer a smaller displacement diesel engine (new Cummins V6 and V8 designs) in the 1500 series. The 1500 with diesel and offroad package would make a great ExPo platform!
