Hey All,
Thought I would throw my wife's truck up here to see if anyone might be interested. It has been a phenomenal vehicle but we moved to a Suburban so this needs to go.
It is a 2010 with 106k miles and the first year of the 5.0 liter SC motor option that offers 510hp, if you have not driven one of these they are a riot and are surprisingly quick and generally feel wrong in all the right ways.
This particular truck is Alaska White on Kalahari Brown Leather and has everything except tv's. Extended Leather, Climate, Luxury Pack etc. I cant recall if those packages are standard on the SC but were options on the Sports in general. Has Rear Locker as well.
Overall the truck is above average for the year and miles, some light dings on the exterior and wear on interior but nothing shocking or substantial. Paint cleans up very well as does the interior wheels are curbed from prior owner which is probably the biggest disappointment cosmetically.
Mechanically this truck has had a crap ton of money spent over the years. New Control Arms, New Brakes and rotors, New Tires, and the engine has already had the Timing Chain Tensioners done which is a common failure item. All of this has been done in the last 10k. Brakes and tires within the last 4-5k. I purchased the truck from Florida, it was owned by a European Service shop and was driven by the owners wife.
Currently fitted with 2.5 inch lift rods and has had alignment and tires are 285/50/20 which clear with no rubbing and don't need spacers etc. Still has a very stock appearance to the average person but it definitely helped improve the stance and ride in my opinion.
Apologies: It has developed a knock/clunk in the steering which according to a Rover Shop is most likely the Hydraulic Sway Bar unit that is known to make some noise over time. It almost sounds or feels like control arms but it doesnt drive loose or compromised just makes a noise with sudden steering inputs. The part is $1200 and it didnt bother me enough to spend that on it at this point since we planned on replacing it with the suburban.
Please feel free to send any questions or requests for more pics, will try to upload some better ones when I can get it cleaned up.
