2010 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad Crew Cab: SOLD
119,xxx miles
Automatic
Canton, OH area.
$xx,xxx.xx or best Reasonable offer. Don’t try to steal it, it ain’t happening.
I’ll let the photos do most of the talking. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask, and make no assumptions.
Everything works with the small exception of the light behind the environmental controls. Sometimes it doesn’t come on, but a light thump with your fist will bring it in line.
I believe I’m the 2nd owner, don’t remember for sure, but PO was in Virginia. I’ve put approximately 20K on it in the last 5 yrs and I’ve never had it off road. Far as I can tell it’s probably never been off-road. It’s stock with the exception of the K&N filter and “maybe” the shocks. Did they come factory with Bilstein?
The top is a Soft Topper and is the cats ass. It will fold forward and store much like a Jeep top, or you can yank it in maybe 10 minutes by yourself. ARE was bat-******** crazy on pricing for the tiny top this truck requires, which worked out because I’d rather have this soft top anyway.
The shelf in the back was made by me. It’s just an extra level of storage. The plywood on the bottom is the leftover from the project and isn’t there to hide anything.
The only body rust is some bubbling along the edge of the drivers side door sill plastic piece. I took a photo. I also took a shot of the rocker panel directly under this area so you can see there is no rust down there. Door bottoms are all good as are all rocker panels and cab corners. My guess is this spot was just “high traffic”. I bought a can of color match spray from my local auto body and paint that they recommended. They haven’t steered me wrong in 20 yrs. To be honest were I to keep it I’d probably yank those plastic pieces both sides and raptor line that area.
There’s nothing known wrong with this truck. I Just. Don’t. Like. It. I know Tacomas have a rabid following, and I REALLY wanted to like it, but I just don’t. Don’t know why. So…
It’s taking up garage space I could use to work on my CJ, or my Mog, so it’s got to go. I’ve got a CJ, a Unimog, a Pinzgauer, a J-truck, and a SuperDuty, all of which I either need or like more than the Taco.
I’ll take cash. I like cash. Cash is King. No PayPal, no bank checks, money orders, western unions, or IOUs from deposed Princes of the Babadook Baruga Mundai Republic. I’ve done more than one of these in the past and on more than one occasion they’ve proven to be a right royal pain in everyones ass. Buyer included. Cash is King.
If you absolutely just HAVE to do a bank check or some nonsense I WILL make you wait what seems a stupid amount of time because as I learned in the past there is cleared, and then there is Cleared, which require two entirely different amounts of time.
If you want me to hold it, $200 non-refundable deposit required…..UNLESS….you actually show up to look at it. If you show up and you don’t like it, you can have your money back, minus whatever papal fees PayPal feels they are entitled to. If I get a msg that your grandpa died for the 4th time this year, your wife of 90 yrs just filed for divorce, or your dog is having kittens, well, bummer. Those just cost you $200.
So. Ask. Ask ask ask. Make no assumptions because odds are I haven’t covered everything someone may want to know.
I sold my Ambo-camper on here to a gentleman that flew in from Colorado and everything went by the numbers. Build thread for that is "Belafonte Reboot" if interested, though Photobucket screwed it over big time, and I haven't fixed it. Point is, I'm not just a drive-by looking to unload his junk.
I have more photos, but limited on what I can post, so if you want to see something just ask.
