2012 Aztex Expedition trailer - feeler

Afternoon

Thinking about selling my custom built expedition trailer.

I bought the trailer about 2 years ago from a gentleman that was going to start a company building simple expedition style trailers. I have been following the forums for quite a while and decided to build my own trailer vs order a 12-15K camping trailer from one of the known builders..

The trailer was custom speced and built heavy duty from Aztex trailers. 48" x 81 1/2" x 52 1/2" high box (sliding window, lockable door and roof vent)

5 lug axels with jeep jk bolt pattern (has Rubicon wheels/tires)

When I bought it I knew I was going to tear it down and built it to my level of ocd.

First thing I did was gut the trailer and paint all the metal with rustoleum. I then replaced all the wood and added foam insulation everywhere after running a wire harness for all accessories. I then seam taped all the joints and built a sub floor to add more insulation. I then covered the floor with 12" laminate tiles.

The walls are 1/2" birch plywood. I built a custom storage cabinet to house the 9" Bluetooth power acoustic tv/stereo and the fosgate speakers.....there is a separate switch panel/cigarette lighter to cut the power to the inside and charge your cell phone.....I then added window curtains to keep out the sun/peeping toms.

Outside I added a tongue box to mount the Kinetik battery/Blue Sea fuse block and circuit breaker. I modified the box and added a waterproof switch panel to control everything. There is pressurized quick disconnect coiled water hose using a sea flo water pump from the two 5 gallon water jugs....great for showers or cleaning dishes

There are both side and rear switched LED lights mounted to the trailer so you can prepare food or light up the camp ground.

I mounted Vision X Tantrum (multi color) LED rock lights under the trailer because who doesn't want a little party/disco action when you're out camping..lol

Up top we have mounted a CVT Mt. Shasta Roof Top tent with annex ($1500+ shipping)

I custom built a fender mounted table that attaches with wingnuts. This is a great platform for cooking or preparing meals/drinks.

This trailer tows great and works awesome for what it was designed. The wife and I sleep up top in the CVT and the kid has a room in the trailer with entertainment.

You can cram two adults in the trailer but the tent is much more comfortable (I sleep in the trailer alone when the family doesn't tag along)

Trailer is located in So Cal(title and current registration in hand)

Based on the level of build and the $$$ invested I am asking $8000 but am open to fair offers. (no rush I just don't use it like I thought I would)
