Box was stripped of all crew seats and equipment, steel roof structure was raised 6” to an interior height of 6’4”, all steel exterior storage boxes have been pocketed to allow interior equipment such as fridge, stove/oven and sink to fit. All exterior storage compartments are sealed from the interior space and coated with oem compartment paint.

The exterior walls and roof have been hot foamed and floor has 1.5 inch rigid foam below interior floor surface. Interior compartment walls have 1.5 “ rigid foam covered in 1/2” plywood.

The propane system, originates from a 5 gallon secured tank in a dedicated, vented compartment. Propane is routed through a manifold block with a solenoid valve controlled from the interior cabin. There is an additional whip with quick connect fittings accessible through a waterproof port for an exterior fit pit or cooking stove.

The electrical system is wired with tinned multi strand marine wire, Blue Sea marine 12 volt and 120 volt breakers and panel components. Interior counter receptacles include 12 volt and 120 volt GFI protected plugs. All exterior and interior lights are LED, all interior light switched are slide dimmable, Additional wiring has been run in preparation for a 12 volt water system and possible future water heater.

The main exterior electrical compartment for all solar and exterior power sources has a thermostatic fan that draws air from the interior cabin, thru the electrical compartment and overboard.

The solar system is a total of 1200 watts…The battery system is 400 amp hours of storage.

The Hitachi mini split system was installed with the intent of using the AC for cooling only, it was never my intent to use the heating side of the system. I have used the AC thru the solar and battery bank in temperatures up to 110 degrees and dusty conditions. Keeping the vehicle in sunlight, you can get 7-8 hours of the AC use with plenty of battery reserve. The Espar D2 diesel heater will roast you out of the well insulated cabin when heat is needed. You can use a small 2200 watt Honda generator or 30 amp 120 volt shore power if you have the need for around the clock AC use.

The water system is incomplete. A 35 gallon water tank is installed and plumbed with a marine stainless exterior lockable fill point and screened air vent. The water supply side of the tank is plumber to a shut off valve and into the exterior compartment where pump and filters can be installed, then connected to the sink and shower. The shower and sink are pre plumbed for water supply, but will need to be connected to what ever pump/filter system is desired. I had planned on a grey water tank under the shower pan and using a Natures Head compostable toilet to negate needing a black tank. See pictures for further description.

All exterior compartments have the original LED light strip interior lighting that’s actuated with a heavy duty pull switch, which is pushed to the off position when the door is closed.

The roof are has small roof deck area accessed through a Lewmar marine44000 hatch to maintain the solar panels, range extender cellular antenna and MaxxFan 12 volt roof vent. See pictures.

The interior cabinets are cherry with maple closure panels. All counter tops are carbonized bamboo, PlyBoo brand. All doors have Blume hinges and marine positive latching pull ring hardware.

The bed system is an XL twin size when in closed position, then a long queen when extended over the table seating area.

All cushions are covered with marine Sunbrella fabric and firm closed cell foam.

All interior panels are secured with stainless #10 threaded inserts and stainless screws.
