2013 Tacoma Reg Cab - minimum lift - which OME spring?

Hey gang!

I think I have convinced myself to put an ARB front bumper on my new Tacoma (had one on JK, loved it), but I think it may ask a bit much of the stock springs with the combined weight with winch. I have settled on an M8000 with synthetic, which puts combined weight (guessing) in the 150-175 range up front (55 for winch, guessing on bumper from what I have read).

Here's the thing - I don't want much lift. I'm ok with something in the neighborhood of 1-1.5", but I just don't require much and would prefer to keep the ride height close to stock. I'm reasonably settled on OME springs/struts, but I believe I could get away with some 5100s and maybe the Eibach spring through toytec. I called up Slee today and - if I heard him correctly - he recommended the 883 spring, but he also said the just haven't done many regular cabs so he wasn't certain.

What are your thoughts? I had OME on my D2 and found the ride to be very harsh, but I think I just had heavier springs than I needed.

885 will be perfect for reg cab. Check out Justinhw build thread. He has single cab with 885s and ARB bumper.

I cant say much about the Tacomas specifically, but lots of Tundra owners use the 885 or 886 springs, which are a Tacoma application.
The 884s or 885s should be good for you, at least with 5100s. The OME struts are supposedly valved specifically for the springs though, the 5100s are not.
The 884 and 885 are the same exact spring, except the 885s are a little longer, and give more lift. I guess I would see if you can find out what your stock spring rate is, and go from there. The 884/885s are both 590lb.
I went with a set of 885s with 5100s on my '00 Tundra AC with the V8, no other mods, and with the 5100s on the 2nd notch, I got very close to 3" lift...The 5100s say they give 1.3" lift on the 2nd notch...so I got just about 2" from the 885s, and IIRC, they are advertised as 2"-2.5" lift for Tacomas...I'm just not sure what years or cab size tho...

Look at Icon Vehicle Dynamics, my truck has a Demello bumper and a 9000RC Warn and the suspension is perfect.
