Hey gang!
I think I have convinced myself to put an ARB front bumper on my new Tacoma (had one on JK, loved it), but I think it may ask a bit much of the stock springs with the combined weight with winch. I have settled on an M8000 with synthetic, which puts combined weight (guessing) in the 150-175 range up front (55 for winch, guessing on bumper from what I have read).
Here's the thing - I don't want much lift. I'm ok with something in the neighborhood of 1-1.5", but I just don't require much and would prefer to keep the ride height close to stock. I'm reasonably settled on OME springs/struts, but I believe I could get away with some 5100s and maybe the Eibach spring through toytec. I called up Slee today and - if I heard him correctly - he recommended the 883 spring, but he also said the just haven't done many regular cabs so he wasn't certain.
What are your thoughts? I had OME on my D2 and found the ride to be very harsh, but I think I just had heavier springs than I needed.
