2013 Wrangler - New Switches Going In - Where to get the dimmable dash light source?

I am wiring up some new OTRATTW switches in a 2013 Wrangler (Sahara if it matters). I'd like to pick up the dimmable dash light circuit for these switches so the switch graphic light comes on and dims with the rest of the dash lights. Does anyone know where the best spot is to pick this up? I will be putting the switches on the dash to the left of the steering wheel.

I could crawl around under there with a multimeter but surely this wheel has been invented already.

THANKS!!!

You may not be able to, as it is computer controlled via the circuit boards. My suggestion? Pull 12v someplace and make your own dimmer for them (I did, just set it and tucked it under the dash).

It's been done. I'd suggest looking on JKowners or JK-Forum for the info. I can't remember what they tapped into, but I do recall reading that someone had done it.

You are looking for an orange wire with a grey or silver stripe. They are everywhere there is a lighted switch. I haven't looked in the drivers footwell, but I found mine in an exposed bundle in the pax footwell as all my wiring goes near there.

Look at the wranglerforum and search under the name of "Darkfire". He did a nice write up
