Well, it begins! 11,000 miles on the Jeep and got my first CEL. I did the key method to get the code and got P0520 (Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Malfunction). I cleared it a few times and it kept coming back. At first I was worried I messed something up with the oil change which I did myself (the CEL came on 800 miles after the oil change), but after reading about the code and seeing that the computer showed my oil pressure at a constant 99PSI, I was 99% sure it was the oil pressure sending unit.
Took it to the dealer today and they confirmed that the Oil Pressure Sender needs replacing. Apparently it's a common problem in the 2014s, so much so that the part is on backorder for 2+ weeks.
Has anyone else ran into this issue?
