Van is located in Reno NV but I can deliver to buyer in most western states.

Asking Price: $79,000

This custom van build is both beautiful and functional. It has a mountain cabin aesthetic with high-end woodwork including pine cabinets, cedar walls, and oak countertop. It has all the features of an off-the-grid adventure-mobile including solar, diesel heater, inverter, 25-gallon water tank, sink/faucet/water pump, and stowable kitchen table. Add on a ton of storage space in the cabinets and in the back gear garage for your adventure tools – all within the famously reliable and long-lasting Sprinter van. Comes with near-new winter tires and snow chains.

After building out and continuously upgrading (while enjoying skiing, climbing, and biking adventures throughout the West), it’s time for a change of lifestyle and hand off to someone who can enjoy this beast for years to come.

Vehicle:
1. 2014 Mercedes-Benz 2500 Sprinter
2. High Roof, Extended Cargo Van – 170 in. wheel base
3. 3.0L 6-Cylinder Diesel Injected Turbocharged Engine, Rear Wheel Drive
4. Engine works great. I just replaced the fuel filter, engine air filter, cabin air filter, and recent oil change.
5. 4 All-season tires, 4 Blizzak snow tires, and tire chains. Blizzaks are the some of the best snow tires out there. These have less than 1,000 miles on them – tons of life left. These tires rally snowy roads. I have easily handled steep snowy roads and deep snow in parking lots with ease. Put the chains on to enter Beast Mode and rally to the trailhead.
6. Backup camera with 7” touch screen in rear-view mirror location, with microphone and additional ports for adding features. Adjustable lens. Easy to see day or night.
7. Driver & Passenger airbags were replaced after manufacturer’s recall.
8. New windshield installed Sept 2018
9. No accidents. The only incident was the rear door was cosmetically dented (fully repaired, like new)
10. Single owner.

Cabinets:
1. Custom-built knotty pine cabinets with push-to-open latches. 5 pull-out drawers and 3 cabinets give you TONS of space to store food, kitchenware, gear, etc. All drawers and door faces easily removable to allow access to area behind cabinets. I built these with an eye for efficiency and storage capacity.
2. Red oak butcher block countertop and backsplash. Treated with food-safe mineral oil so you can safely prepare food directly on it. On top of the butcher block, there is a spice rack behind sink (for salt, pepper, soap, etc) and “everything bin” to the right.
3. Custom cabinet above bed. Unique slat-opening system does not have doors that swing out. Super easy to use in the limited space of a van. Customize the height of the doors to fit your needs. I’ve found this clothes cabinet fits a season’s worth of clothes for two people, with a book shelf in the middle bay.
4. Cedar siding. Beautiful wood knots. Several hooks throughout van for clothing, pots & pans, etc. Siding is easily removable to allow access behind wall (for adding wires, etc).

Interior:
5. WINDOWS – two large CR Lawrence windows with bottom vents.
6. FANS – two Fantastic Fans – turn both on, one flowing in and the other out for awesome airflow.
7. Full-size bed. Size is approx. 75 in x 55 in. I am 6’1” and fit without going sideways. Bed included if desired, or I can keep it and you can put in your own – buyer’s choice.
8. Bench seat with storage underneath. Access to top shelf of garage for gear access.
9. Folding table that stows behind driver seat. Table is made from solid maple & cherry wood.
10. Garbage can & hand broom mounted by sliding door.
11. Blackout curtains on all windows with colorful hand-made Ecuadorian fabric. Connect with magnets for fast on/off.
12. Garage area in back has tons of storage space. Right shelves are about 18” high and fit a total of 12 Rubbermaid bins. Left bay holds large frame mountain bikes, bouldering pads, kayak, or just about whatever else you can want to bring with you.
13. Garage LED lights – makes gearing up at night a breeze! On/off switch located on back left side of garage.
14. Damplifier Second Skin – Automotive sound deadening material - reduces road noise while driving.

Appliances & Solar:
15. HEATER – Espar Airtronic D2 bunk heater with Exhaust Muffler. Mounted under passenger seat, air blows at you if you’re sitting in bed or on the bench seat. Control is next to the bed – so you can heat up the van without getting out of bed in the morning! Runs off of diesel fuel in the main Sprinter fuel tank. Uses very little fuel. I’ve never measured or seen a difference in fuel levels, but according to specs uses .23 Liter/hour on high (it’s usually not on high).
16. SOLAR PANELS - Two 100-Watt solar panels with “spreader bars” to put the panels to 45-degree angle. This allows you to get maximum solar charging during the winter when the sun is low. Panels are wired to a rooftop combiner box. System is capable of handling another 140 W of panels. Thick 6 gauge wire reduces lines losses for optimum efficiency. Also in the system are On/Off switch, Blue Sky Shunt, Blue Sky Temperature Sensor, Blue Sky SB2512iX-HV MPPT Charge Controller.
17. POWER MONITOR - Blue Sky IPN ProRemote Digital Solar Power monitor and charge controller. Programmable. Gives battery capacity, charge rate, and other customizable features. Solar monitor is located next to bed above countertop.
18. 2 auxiliary batteries mounted under chassis.
19. 12-gang Blue Marine fuse box. Has three open fuses to add more utilities. Comes with a bag of extra fuses.
20. FRIDGE - ARB 50-Liter Refrigerator / Freezer. Works great, smells great, operates on electric. I pretty much buy a normal amount of groceries and the fridge will fit them, including 2-liter bottles. Has two sections, top section is slightly warmer for veggies. Mounted on pull-out sliding shelf. Runs off 12v power in the van, or use the included wire to plug in to 110v outlet at home.
21. INVERTER – ProWatt SW Sine Wave Inverter. With 2 110-volt outlets, connected to a surge protector that has 7 outlets and 2 USB slots. Inverter readout gives voltage, power draw of appliances.
22. CHARGER - Power-Max Battery charger (connect to shore power, house power outlet with extension cord)
23. USB charging outlet with 2 slots – mounted on left of countertop.
24. “Main” on/off switch to turn off all appliances in van with one single switch. Great for long-term storage so you don’t have to worry about anything going wrong. This still allows the solar panels to charge the batteries (which I’ve heard is better for both the panels and the batteries).
25. LED rope lights on dimmer switch and wired with 3-way on/off switches. One on/off switch is mounted under passenger seat, the other next to bed, so you can turn the lights on/off when entering the van, from the driver’s seat, while in bed, or when standing in the kitchen. They are mounted almost the entire way around the kitchen – no shadows anywhere! Warm white LED light is soft on the eyes. Dimmer switch gives you mood lighting and saves batteries at night.
26. STOVE - 2-burner propane stove - Atwood DV 20S Stainless Steel 2-Burner stove.
27. Two 10-pound (about 1-gallon) propane tanks are mounted in garage with access from kitchen.
28. Carbon monoxide, propane, and smoke detectors. Fire extinguisher on floor behind passenger seat – easy access from kitchen or from driver’s seat.

Water & Plumbing:
29. 25 gallon fresh water tank. Can fill with hose that connects to most water spigots and home hose connections. There is also a 7-gallon portable water tank that can fill the fresh water tank with a 3-foot hose (50-ft collapsible hose, 7-gal water tank and 3-foot hose included)
30. 15 gallon grey water tank. 1.5” drain pipe – empties in about 2 minutes. Quick & easy connection to drain out of the rear of the van.
31. Water pump. Allows you to use the kitchen faucet like the one in your house. There is an on/off switch for driving or storing the van so the water pump is guaranteed off. Fills a gallon jug in about a minute.
32. Sink – Stainless steel sink with fitted metal strainer. Bowl volume: 7 gallons - Depth: 5 7/8 inches – Width: 13 3/8 inches – Length: 15 3/4 inches.
33. Drains to grey water tank, even when van is parked on steep incline.
