Re-arranging the fleet a bit. Selling not only my beloved family fun vehicle (100 series in another thread) but also my daily. Consolidating both with a full size pick up instead.
I bought the truck brand new in June of 2014, one owner (me).
The Tacoma is absolutely dead on reliable. It just clipped 100k miles, with all proper maintenance religiously performed to manufactures recommendations. (i'm talking even the drive shafts get lubed with every oil change). I have a full shop with a lift and aside from the first 5 oil changes that were free I have performed everything to my own standard (which is much higher than any dealership!)
The truck is driven daily for work and its pretty much all highway. It gets coated with fluid film twice a yr and the undersize is spotless. Not an ounce of rust on the truck body/frame etc.
Tires were replaced a yr ago with 255/75/17 Duratracs, Maybe 15k miles on them so far so basically brand new. These are a little taller and little skinnier than stock, gives it a great look with no rub issues at all.
The interior has had covers on them since the 2nd week i owned the truck. You can see the condition of the front seats (covers removed). I didn't remove the back covers but they are just as perfect as the front.
The body/paint is in great condition. It is a truck and it has been used as one from time to time. never really off roaded (at most some fire roads but not bush clearing for sure). The scratches here and there are from normal truck use with material in the back. Of course there are some minor blemishes here and there in the front from highway driving for 100k miles. I would say its 8/10 overall.
Front brakes are 1.5 yrs old (still plenty fine). The rears are original believe it or not but i keep a close eye on them. They will be replaced in the next oil change just out of precaution. They actually still have alot of meat on them (again - alot of highway miles).
battery is 3 months old.
only extra item is a trailer brake controller.
