2015 KTM 1190 Adventure, 13,500 miles, $10,500

I am the original owner, I purchased this new from Scuderia West in San Francisco. Very good condition with just a few upgrades. Minor service was recently performed at Scuderia.

The motorcycle works perfectly and the only reason I’m selling it is because I had a kid and don’t have time to ride. Before we had a kid, my wife and I could comfortably fit a weekend’s worth of camping gear on this and head to the sierras. With the kid, a Jeep makes more sense than a motorcycle.

This is honestly the best motorcycle I’ve ridden, it is very fun, playful, and confidence inspiring.

This is the Adventure model, which has electronically adjustable suspension and 19” front, 17” rear wheels. Both features make this better than the Adventure R for touring. The Adventure R is better for offroad riding, which I had zero intention of doing.

Upgrades:
-Holan Nomada 38 L aluminum panniers. These are some of the narrowest hard paniers available, I opted for the narrow mounting brackets with require aftermarket exhaust. These cost $1000 with shipping when they were new.
-Wings slip on exhaust, titanium with carbon fiber end cap. Sounds great, but isn’t loud. I primarily upgraded the exhaust so I could fit the narrower pannier brackets. I have the stock exhaust. This was also nearly $1000 new.
-Givi top case
-Givi windscreen
-KTM PowerParts heated grips, never installed, these wire into the stock harness and are controlled by the stock dash.
-KTM PowerParts comfort rear seat, not shown in photos, used for one ride, my wife didn’t think it was much of an upgrade.

What’s wrong with it?
-Tires are worn and need to be replaced, for full asking price, I will purchase new tires of your choice.
-Small tear at front of seat, you could have this re-covered, or buy the KTM PowerParts front seat to match the rear seat that is included.
-Small scuffs in plastic trim pieces below handlebars from straps when tied down in truck. If you wanted to replace these, the parts are $120 total new from KTM.
-Small scratch in plastic tank guards, set down in parking lot very softly and this was the only damage. This scratch is barely noticeable, but I want to be honest.

Located in Santa Cruz, CA. I could meet you at the SJC airport if you want to fly in and ride it home. I might be able to deliver on the west coast for a fee, depending on timeline and location.
