2015 Ram 4500 Crew Cab, 6.7 Diesel, 4x4 Flat Bed

FOR SALE: 2015 Ram 4500 Crew Cab 6.7 Diesel 4x4 Flat Bed Truck, 200k miles, automatic transmission

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Description:
Truck is mechanically in great shape; had it checked out by a shop before buying it. It had been used by a trucking company with almost entirely highway miles before we bought it; still has a gooseneck hitch in the bed.

We started the process to build a family expedition camper and life is taking a new direction. This is an 11.5 foot flatbed truck with a custom steel frame built on it. See photos for more details of this--We were working towards building a truck-bed-tiny-house, with a cab over sleeping area and living space. Welding work was done at a professional shop here in Albuquerque; welds are very well done, frame (cab over in particular) is impressively strong. Mostly built out of 2" square tube; frame was painted flat black to protect it after photos were taken.

I also have a 100 gallon diesel TransferFlow tank with electronics if you're interested, happy to include with the sale.

Asking Price: $40,000; Best offer accepted

Known Problems: No Known issues; though I have not driven her many miles, bought used from a dealership in 2020. Clean Colorado title; clean carfax history.

Alright, I'm good at taking a hint, 40k is a bit too high here. What do y'all think a fair/reasonable price for this is? Who wants to make an offer? ;)

Look at Commercial Truck Trader, there are a number of these on there. Your mileage is higher than most. Dont know of a way to value your steel structure you have added.

Funny you mention CTT—that’s where I looked to figure out a price. This is the only comparable truck I can find: f450, 189k in miles, one year older, crew cab4x4…

listed at 35k.

since that welding cost me more than 5k, I was hoping to be reasonable around 40, thinking that someone else could see the vision and would appreciate the project started……

but again, definitely open to offers, I’d probably even take 35!

Honestly, that welding for many would be scrap. I'd got with total composite box on the back if I were building one out. Good luck with selling.
