2015 Tacoma DC TRD OR build

in December I purchased a brand new 2015, magnetic gray metallic, Tacoma, double cab, short bed, with TRD off-road package. I have wanted to get a vehicle to build into an expedition/overland rig for a while now so I am pretty stoked about it.

I have been inspired by Derek Munroe's Project Serenity Tacoma and that has influenced some of the decisions I made.

Any suggestions for products I should look into would be greatly appreciated.

Yep. Wild like to go out to Utah as well. Not necessarily expo west. Heading up to ky dam village shortly for there annual elk and bison buffet. Awesome

The buffet sounds good! I'll have to look into that for next year. Maybe we can coordinate and caravan to OE East, that'd be fun. I'd like to do OE West but it hits at a bad time for work.

I got some new stuff for my Tacoma today, I received the mirror riser and extreme duty tech deck from Bird Dawg Industries, both are very well made. The TRD Pro grill insert also arrived today. Now I am just waiting on the TRD sport grill to come in and the front end of my taco will be de-chromified! I'll get some pictures in the next couple of days of the mirror riser and tech deck once they are both installed.

I got the new grill insert and grill surround installed and also my tech deck and mirror riser! Now I just need to get a bed rack ordered.

How does tech deck mount? Do you have to drill any holes into the dash/console?

You have to drill several holes to mount it. I have the extreme duty version by the way.
