I’m listing my 2015 Toyota Tacoma for sale. It’s a Pyrite Mica four door long bed, SR5 4X4. 4.0 V6 with automatic transmission. Mileage is slightly less than 22k (Picture depicts 21,760). I ordered this truck new and accepted delivery December 2014.

This build was inspired first by all the awesome 808 Tacoma’s. It was influenced by Cam’s Nemo Tacoma, but I plagiarized Sean’s Defconbrix Tacoma heavily. I genuinely appreciated his thorough Tacomaworld thread.

That out of the way, here are the details:
- Pelfreybilt Aluminum plate front bumper, LineX
- Pelfreybilt high-clearance rear bumper, LineX
- Pelfreybilt side skids 90” with Kickout, bolt on, LineX
- Pelfreybilt under armor (IFS, Mid and rear) aluminum and powder coated
- Warn Zeon 10-S with relocation & Factor 55 Hawse Fairlead/FlatLink
- (5) Stealth Custom Series Ray10 in bronze wheels
- Toyo Open Country R/T 35x12.5
- Prinsu front cab rack
- Prinsu long bed cap rack
- A.R.E. CX Truck Cap with dual vented “windoors” and tilt down sliding front picture window

- Timbren bumpstops (front and rear)
- OME Dakar rear leaf spring pack with extra leaf
- Icon 2.5” Remote Reservoir CDCV rear shocks
- Dynatrac Pro Rock 60 High-Pinion rear axle. 4.88 ratio. Custom width to match TC 2” Long travel on the front end
- Full width cargo slide with Goose Gear Top Tray (bullet lined), mounted on top of:
- Goose Gear Top plate (3/4”) mounted on top of:
- Goose Gear double drawer module (1/3-2/3rd split) mounted on top of:
- Goose Gear Custom Base Plate

- Heretic Studio 30” Light Bar on front of Prinsu Rack
- WeatherTech floor mats front and rear
- Wet Okole seat covers front and rear
The truck modifications were accomplished through Pelfreybilt. The truck bed work and all of the electrical wiring was accomplished at Goose Gear. The Dynatrac axle and shortened driveshaft was installed by Rock Solid Toys. Final connection of the ARB lockers was accomplished at Green Tree Fabrications (GTF) in Anchorage.

Known issue #1: If the vehicle is left unattended/un-driven for prolonged periods of time, there are parasitic draws on the electrical system. From the Warn Winch, from the remote start/alarm, from the trailer brake controller. As you may infer from the low mileage, this vehicle isn’t driven often. But it is always on trickle chargers. Driven regularly, I’m sure the charging system will keep up fine.
Known issue #2: The rear ARB air-locker would leak air and trigger the ARB compressor intermittently. I took the truck into GTF (Anchorage) to evaluate. They opened the rear differential and found metal shavings. Ordered new carrier bearings, new quad ring and GTF re-shimmed the carrier bearing. There is no air leak from the rear ARB and the rear differential was thoroughly flushed.
Known issue #3: While removing the rear tire swing out, I dinged a corner of the jerry can holder, causing a minor bend in the metal and splitting of the LineX. I repaired the bend, stripped the LineX and had it re-sprayed with a new coat of LineX. This new coat went on thicker than the original and now it is very difficult to fit two jerry cans in the cradle. Some LineX material may need to be sanded off to allow a better fit of two jerry cans.

Asking price: $55,000.00

Very nice build! I’m curious as to your thinking of why you replaced the OEM rear axle and drive shaft with the aftermarket Dynatrac and RST?

Good luck with the sale!

The axle answer is simple; I didn’t want to use spacers on the rear wheels to match the front track width. And a Dynatrac axle is stronger than the factory axle.
The answer to the RST driveshaft is even simpler; the Dynatrac axle yoke works out to be a little bit longer than the factory, necessitating a slightly shorter axle. It is the factory axle, shortened in length to marry up to the Dynatrac. With an important RST sticker!
Thanks for the post!

When I initially saw the post title I was skeptical, but after seeing the truck i have to say it is an immaculate build. Congrats on the build and good luck with the sale, someone will be very lucky to have this.

I’m going to share a YouTube link that is unrelated to the sale of this Tacoma, except that it might address the ‘why I’m selling’ question. This is mostly a shameless plug for my nephews budding YouTube channel (like, subscribe, follow, etc.). The Tacoma is visible towards the end of this video. And yes, I’m afflicted with a truck problem. But admitting is the first step…
