2016 NW Overland Rally Pics - better late than never!

First time posting in this section - If these should be elsewhere I apologize and feel free to merge them wherever.

My wife, two year old and I traveled from BC down to the NWOR in Plain, WA back in June. This was our first time at the rally and at any event like this, it was fun for all of us.

I snapped a bunch of pics of trucks from the vendors to the camping area. As much as I'm a Toyota fan, there was a number of different setups to drool over. We were the only Sequoia there!!

We went on one of the Suglarloaf Peak trail runs

After the rally we toured around some of the WABDR and some back roads in north central WA State and back into BC about a week later. Thanks Washington it was a good time and you have good mexican food!

Nice collection, thanks! The nose of my not so sexy bug damn good van got into one picture too. Motel Vera might not be lifted, outfitted or any of that, hut she took us 7845 miles in ten weeks on all back roads and free camping. That's what I call Overlanding! And I loved our long weekend at the rally for all he great people I met.

Yeah! It's not really "off road" but we've sure lugged it off road and on some pretty rough spots, as long as the trail is wide enough

Hey neighbour! We did run a portion of the WABDR, maybe half of section 5 since part of it was washed out. Had a great time and some perfect camp spots. How was your Canada trip??

Thanks for sharing the pics. This was only the second NWOR we've missed. Both due to family illness. We'll be back next year and hope to run into you.

Looked like fun

I may try and come up for next year's event. We always have a good time at the Expo and it would be neat to go to an event out of our area and learn some of the better trails there.
