I am the original owner of a KTM 1290 Super Adventure R. I bought it in Reno, NV in October of 2019 and shipped it to Europe where I have used it for mostly road touring. Shipping it back to the US is quite expensive with post-pandemic prices so I am looking to sell it and buy another in the US instead. It is all dealer maintained and has had all required services.
If I am unable to sell it before next summer, I will ship back to the US and keep it.
It is USA/Nevada registered so the buyer must either be willing to continue US registration or deal with importing it at their own risk.
This is a good deal if you are an American looking for a nice bike in Europe. I love this bike and don't want to sell it, but with current shipping prices it is cheaper to sell this one and buy a new one in the US than ship it home.

The good:
KTM powerparts heated seats, heated grips, skid plate, foam pre-filters, top luggage rack, Puig touring windshield, off-road dongle (never used). Touratech aluminum side boxes & racks. Extra 3l hard case for tool set. Mosko moto Nomad tank bag. Motohansa extended KTM tool set. Kryptonite New York heavy duty chain lock. All major services done including valve adjustment.
The bad:
It has been down a few times off roading (as expected with any adv bike). It has some scrapes on the engine protectors and on the edge of the front axle. None of these effect performance in any way. The side cases have some dents but are fully functional and water-proof.
Tires are >50%. It is currently at a motorcycle storage facility in Athens that can arrange any servicing or new tires. It is set to be stored there until the end of April '23.
Asking $14k OBO.
