If it were in the budget this year I would be all over a 1500 EcoDiesel in the Big Horn package, a neighbor who has owned 7 f150's over the years recently replaced his 2014 EcoBoost with a 2018 EcoDiesel and regularly gets over 28 mpg (seen as high as 31 mpg) highway and 18 mpg when towing their 24 ft travel trailer. It's a no-brainer with the mileage and comfort they provide, a far cry from the junk that Dodge put out in the 90's.

The front end isn't half bad, pretty reserved compared to the rest of the 1/2 tons.

My buddy has a 16. I don't like the interior but the motor is sweet. He gets 18 City and 24 highway. I dig the coil rear end.

I applaud FCA for bringing back the 3.0L and giving us diesel options.
