I’m the original owner of this 2024 Taxa Tigermoth (Standard Edition), purchased in March 2024. This little trailer is great for 3+ day adventures, taking me to multiple national parks and forests in comfort. The full size bed converts into a sofa with a small table, serving as a refuge during rainy weather.
Weighing in at 1,310 lbs, I’ve towed this around with my Subaru Outback, averaging a combined 15.5 - 16.5 mpg while connected. You can also fit this trailer in a single car garage, as I have. My adventures have started to grow longer so I’m moving onto a camper van. As much as I want to keep this thing, it’s not feasible. I would possibly consider trading for an adventure/dual-sport bike or 2 door jeep.
Dry Weight: 1,310 lbs
Tongue Weight: 127 lbs
GAWR: 2,200 lbs
Exterior Length: 12’10”
Exterior Height: 7’
There are many features that could be listed, but I’ve highlighted a few below:
- Dual AGM batteries
- EcoFlow portable solar panel (110w)
- Victron 75/15 SmartSolar bluetooth charge controller
- 12v usb outlets - Maxxair Dome vent fan
- Interior and exterior amber & red lights
- 5 gal NATO water jug w/ spigot
- 5 gal propane tank w/ mounting box
- Primus Kinjia 2-burner stove
- 6’ Awning w/ net room annex
- Side & rear door bug screens
- Thule ProBar Evo 175 Load Bars
- 200lbs capacity roof cargo deck
