Looking for rear mounted propane tank pics

I am converting my van to 4wd and setting up accomodations for sleeping in it. I don't want to throw a tank underneath. I will be building a double swingaway rear bumper. It has been mentioned on here several times about mounting the tank up high in the rear so its above hood height in case someone fails their brake test behind you. Just loking for pics for ideas of what other people have done.

Planning on runing an rv furnace off of the tank as I tend to do more things in the winter. Figure I can unhook or set up a quick disconnect to run the cooking stove outside the van.

I have plans to mount a 20lb propane tank to a dual swingout on my rear bumper this spring. As with you, I really don't like the idea of a propane tank under the truck, expecially once you think about all the problems that would occur on the trail if you were to land hard on it....bad stuff. Of course, equally bad things could happen if you don't mount it high enough at the rear bumper to avoid potential impact in a rear collision scenario. My tank will be mounted approx. 5' off the ground. We have a max headlight height law in Maine of 54", so for 99% of the traffic on the road the tank will be high enough. For tractor trailer collisions there is no protection, but frankly if I get rear ended my a tractor trailer with a force high enough to cause damage to the propane tank, I'm probably dead anyway. As for the mounting itself, I intend to wrap a cage around the tank facing rearward. The whole cage will swing out and the tank will be loaded and unloaded from the swing-out position. I'll probably be clamping on the top and bottom rings of the tank to make sure there is no movement. I'm still establishing my new shop so I don't expect to get to this project for at least another month or so.

I used a tank mount used by power tank. I like the mount but not sure about the strap they sent with it
