So those are the mystery tires us North Merican's are missing out on, eh? Look pretty cool!

It is a 74 body on a 92 chassis. I still have the owners phone number if you want me to find out where he got them, cost, and how they are wearing.

You can buy the chinese knockoffs on ebay for 300. I was curious about how well they would do on a single rear wheel dodge cummins. I think they are 10 inches wide? 36.1 inches tall. 285 75 r 18 toyo mts. seem like a pretty good options as well load range E 4080 lbs.

I live a short drive away from where those Chinese tires are! That never happens! All the cool stuff is usually on the OTHER side of the country. Might have to look into those. They might be a different tread compound than the XZL, and might last longer. The owner of the black Dodge lives even closer to the Chinese seller, so might it be on them?

Edit... I just zoomed in on the pic, and although it isn't super clear, I'm 95% sure they ARE the Chinese clones. If anyone is super interested in a set, I'll ask him about them.

I definitely like those tires but not at $300 a piece! I don’t always buy tires in the price range of $300 a piece but when I do, they sure the hell are not tires made in China. Now then, if they sold these for $150 or less per tire I might be willing to try a unique size Chinese tire.

Who knows….if Harbor Freight ever hears about these they might sell them right next to their throwaway Chinese winches

I had 9" 16 , that is 255/100-16 Michelin xzl on a 3 ton Iveco (unloaded 3tons). These are great in the mud, good in sand if very low pressure but extremely load on the street.
From 35mph on you can hear them singing and it gets loader...

As someone said already these wear out extremely fast on the street at summer temperatures. In Winter conditions the xzl are useless.

In Europe these xzl costs around 600$ IF you can get them new.

If you have other profiles to choose from I would recommend to do so. For my Iveco 40.10, there was no other choice in that size (very high but narrow).
