Hello Gents!

Looking for some feedback... anyone know if 255/85/15r are still available by tire manufacturers? I am planning to perform my 2" body lift job in my 1998 Montero this weekend, and I am looking to use my existing 15" factory wheels... I do like the not-so-huge tire look/application, so I was wondering if anyone has this setup (such as the famous Mud Hen FJ55 Land Cruiser from 4x4 Wire fame...).

I know that there are a ton of applications for 16R size, but I wasn't able to find the 15R application.

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks,

Jorge

33x10.5R15 is about the same size as a 255/85R16 overall dimension wise. The 33x10.5 is a little wider, about a half an inch.

When I had my Gen I Montero I ran LT235/75R15's. Then I went to 31X9.50R15. I doubt that anyone makes a 9.50 anymore but the 235/75's are plentiful. If I still had one I'd go up to 17's and run either LT255/75R17's or Lt265/70R17's, as those sizes are cheap and plentiful.

Hello Guys! Found good pricing for Bridgestone Dueler MT 31/10.5xr15... any feedback on these tires? Know anyone who has used them in the past? Anyone recommend a higher size, but stay in the 9.5 to 10.5 range?

Many thanks for your feedback.

I run a set of 33X10.50R15 General Grabber Red Letters on my 99 Ford Ranger 4X4 sitting on stock suspension. I am extremely pleased with these tires!

Because they do not exist for a 15 inch wheel.... And here is a 20 page thread on the 255/85r16 http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/24853-The-255-85R16-Tire-Official-List
