255/85-16 on 6" rim

Anyone got 255/85's mounted on a 6 inch rim? The BFG MT KM2's is specifically what I'm interested in.

The wheels I want to put them on ar 16x6. The BFG website says 6.5" is the min. rim width. I have 12.5's mounted on 7s right now and don't seem to have any issues.

Any opinions?

Out of curiosity, what does the website say is the min width for the 12.5? I would think you will be fine with the 255/85 on a 6" rim, but I have no personal experience with it.

You should be just fine. Mine are on a 7" with room. I had my old 12.5" tires on 8" rims and they work great because it sucks them in so you have less chance of popping a bead.
