Sleep in Jeep is Coming Back

Kids sleeping quarters

Those drawers look a lot like the ones we used for our kids in our early years of marriage when money was short. Then if they get to fussing you just close the drawer for the night! :Wow1:

I remember one trip we were caught in a rear bad storm with hail, lightning, wind and downpours. I was set up to sleep in my Cherokee while most of my friends set up and tried to hold up in tents. Several times during the night when the noise of the storm woke me I would peer out and see my poor friends in their tents, the next morning there were several rather wet sleepbags and some pretty tired campers.

All my equipment and supplies are in water tight containers so I just pile then outside the vehicle and never mind the weather.

I'm a real believer in the inside sleeper model.

Thanks,
Fred
