Yep, great idea, want one in my LC.

When I put the roll cage in my TJ, I added a dash bar [partially] so I could mount junk on it.

While I don't store my guns up there, it does make a nice place for the GPS. I use one of these mounts from Four Treks:

Another reason to keep my TJ. $549 to my door.

I see higher prices on almost everything for JKs.

very nice. i have my ruger smashed between the seat and center console. i'm not sure how legal that is, but if i'm in town i do not keep the clip in it. atleast in Montana and Wyoming, its open carry laws.
