285s on a 2002 Tahoe

Any idea if 285/75 r 16 BFG ATs will fit on a unlifted 4x4 Tahoe? This is a 2002 model. Thanks.

Yes, they will fit. I used to run 285s on mine before I did the spacers and keys suspension lift, and now run 295s.

If you have any "chatter" with the 285s when turning it is a simple manner of trimming away the offending portion of the wheel well. But I doubt you will.

Thanks for the info. This is for a friend that is considering michelin LTX ATs in 285/75 R 16 not BFGs. I will let him know.

I had 285/70/17 BFG M/T's on my 02 Z71. I cranked my stock torsion keys a little, so there was no rubbing.
