2nd Battery Alternative Possibly? Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I was just browsing around on Youtube and came across this video... Any thoughts and/or input of possibly building one of these as a 2nd battery replacement?

I found this other video of someone powering a TV for a couple of minutes as well....

This would be in the rear of the truck (in a sealed container) powering a Fridge some lights and other small electronics.

Input welcome, and merely a thought, not really looked into building one yet. Seems more cost efficient than a NLPP with an AGM, but obviously there are differences...

Capacitors. Quick charge, quick discharge. They won't last long powering loads for extended times. I could see it as a replacement for the cranking battery to start the engine, but not as a replacement for anything that needs power long term.

I would assume they hold enough juice to power some camp lights for a couple of hours at night, and some random gadgets, and possibly cellphones. I'm not expecting it to run an entire basecamp. And I doubt the fridge would run all that much during the later hours/night time.

I don't know, just something I found and was curious as to what other people thought.

But at a fraction of the weight, and you could build it in any configuration. Doesn't necessarily need to be in the traditional rectangle shape.

I'd stick to what caps do best and batteries do best.
I've used them mostly to smooth out the power delivery from pulsewidth modulated circuits.

Those super caps would be good for devices that have high power start-up needs.

There are small batteries that do that too ---- better.

Look at the batteries used in this EV concept car. I really really want a few of these batteries...

For something small and light, look at little SLAs. I used to use cases and cases of small 12 volt 7-amp Interstate batteries.
Not expensive, mount in any position, reliable. Easy to recharge.
Great for LEDs around camp or whatever.
