Strong enough for a small trailer frame? 48x60 box and 48" tongue is what I was thinking. Would run a heavier wall piece end to end for the tongue. I have a bunch of it for free and am wondering if its worthwhile. Or if its not strong enough....
That's pretty thin for anything "spanning" like a horizontal structure. If it's free - take it. Would be good for verticals and some supporting pieces.
I agree with ryan. for the main frame I would go thicker wall. for intermediate runners would be fine. .063 will tear the welds right off. in other words the welds will be intact but it will shear the metal off. highdesertranger
I would go 120 wall for the main frame and use the 063 for supports cross members and even uprights if tied together. I agree it is just too light for the main frame.
