34x10.50 or 35x10.50 pics?

I've been looking lately, but haven't spotted any 34x10.50 or 35x10.50 tires on stock rims on any of our trucks. I'm thinking this will be the way to go.

Have any of you fellas spotted any pics of rigs with this tire size?

General thoughts on running this size?

I prefer the 'pizza cutters' myself.

Not really here
This is exactly what I am going to be putting on mine when tires are needed. 34 instead of 35s I think.

Yeah. My truck has seen a grand total of about 4000 miles in 2010... so I think I can live with the wear of some of these tires. I'm thinking the 35" will take too much work, but the 34" will fit with just a torsion crank and springs/spacers (already have OME springs). My only concern is that I'd prefer to have radial tires.

This is the only montero pic of 34" 10.50 tires I have found...

What about gearing issues? I went from 31's to 33's the day I bought my SR and could tell a big difference. I think 35's and that tranny will be working overtime. I personally feel 34's would be the absolute limit for the 4.6....(something's). I'm sure the 4.9's could do 35's fine. Just my couple pennies.....

Hmm, posted the picture I took of Brian's rig on our trip to Kyburz. Guess my pics are out there to be found. :ylsmoke:

Here are some other detail shots:

I agree somewhat. I could tell a big difference going from stock to 33, but my prior truck was an 87 4runner with 32s, so the monty feels like a ferrari.
The Montero has not lacked in performance on the hwy with 33s either, so I'm not too explicitly worried about power loss.
